Older Adults Awards
Description: This committee honors older adults and their unheralded contribution to Missoula.
Results we want: Our club wants to recognize the older adults who contribute their services in the community and to gain goodwill and exposure for our Rotary Club.
General Standards:
- Missoula Aging Services has an annual Volunteer Recognition Event each spring.
- Our Club donates $500 to the event and is an event sponsor.
- A Rotarian speaks at the event to express Rotary's appreciation for tremendous amount of time, effort and talent these older adults contribute to our community.
- Our club is recognized in their newsletter to 4,000 members.
