Paul Harris Awards

    • Description: Donors of US$1,000 or more to the Annual Programs Fund, PolioPlus, or the Humanitarian Grants Program, or people who have that amount contributed in their name, can be recognized as Paul Harris Fellows. Each new Paul Harris Fellow receives a commemorative certificate and a pin.
    • Results we want: To formally present these, make them special events and educate the club as to what they mean.
    • General Standards:
      • Chair of this committee works with the Executive Committee to get these scheduled.
      • Typically a short bio of the recipient is given.
      • Recipient is brought on stage and formally pinned.
      • The recipient receives a standing ovation.
  • Presentation Award Schedule—

    1.       Invitations will be sent to all prospective Paul Harris recipients inviting them to be recognized on the date selected.

    2.       RSVP’s will be requested so that we know who will be coming

    3.       Individuals may sit at specially designated tables

    4.       The Club Secretary will order and bring the appropriate pins for the members present to be honored

    5.       (Optional) Each Paul Harris fellow being recognized will be asked to stand and speak very briefly

  • 6.        The Club President and or Committee Chairperson will award the pins
